How can I fix sloping horizontal lines?
2
I cannot get horizontal lines in Google Slides to become straight. The height will never go to 0.00 and always remains at 0.01 at best.
I've attached a screenshot - in this slide it is not that obvious, but when working on larger genealogical pedigrees my horizontal lines look really messy.
The screenshot also shows were I get stuck in Format Options.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Hello,
I overlooked this detail initially, but you're asking about Google Slides in the Google Sheets dedicated forum. I'd repost this over there.
I've not used the lines in slides, but you likely aren't able to set the line height to .00 because there would be no line to display at that point because its height is 0.
Hopefully that's a working direct link to the slides forum.

Hi Jenny,
Unfortunately there are no settings for adjusting the placement of each end point. There are a couple of options for you.
- click on the end point and then use shift+Up or shift+Down to move the point in smaller increments
- delete the line and add a new one. However, while you are placing the line on the Slide, hold down the shift key. This will lock the line into commonly used angles.
I hope this helps!
